Using locally sourced ingredients, our team of professional chefs prepare a menu that captures the flavours of Scotland. In doing so we can produce a variety of dishes that include meat, fish, poultry, vegan,vegetarian and gluten free. We are very aware of peoples choices and allergies so please ask your server if in doubt of any dish.
The highly reviewed award winning ( please see press release on home page) RiverView Restaurant has won recognition from Eat Scotland, The Gourmet Society, Scotch Beef Club, Cittaslow Perth and The Scottish Hotel Awards.
On the first Thursday of the month for �28 we offer a tasting menu. A 4/5 course menu based on seasonal dishes as well as some from further a field. We keep things relaxed and informal and often have a speaker joining us from one of our suppliers. We can even tell you the transit time on some of the food, especially the fish. Everyone is welcome, come along and meet like minded food lovers, have a great night and maybe go away with a recipe or two. Booking is recommended. National Vegetarian Week 2014 runs from 19-25 May and is setting out to prove that going veggie is surprisingly simple. In support of the National Vegetatrian Week we are offering in addition to our normal menus, a vegetarian menu, for the duration of the week. To have a look at the menu click here Members of the vegetarian society receive 10% off their food bill. Membership cards must be shown in order to receive this discount.
Coffee, tea, biscuits and home made fresh scones are served everywhere all day and into the evening hours.
