The Shakespeare Element. 15 - 16 December 2006. Birnam Institute, 7pm. Mr Winterbottom suggests in assembly the students of Capulet and Montague houses don't study enough Shakespeare and a term of "Bard-Bashing" is planned. The Drama teacher has other plans. She and the art teacher want to let their creative juices flow, they would like to present Romeo and Juliet at the end of term as a whole school production. Things in the staff room get heated as the gym teacher and the woodwork teacher both fancy the English teacher and all go head to head in the auditions for the show. Out in the playground the professional jealousy is rife and gangs of would be stars are trying to outshine each other. A hilarious second production by this group of young performers. Admission - £3.
